Lauren Mueller-Laskin is a Portland, Oregon-based filmmaker who specializes in documenting destination weddings.

In 2024 and 2025, Lauren was awarded Oregon Wedding Day’s Best Videographer. She has been featured in publications such as Oregon Wedding Day, Green Wedding Shoes, Style Me Pretty, WedVibes, and more.

With over a decade of experience working in film, Lauren uses her background in documentary visual arts to inform her approach to weddings.

Lauren has had the opportunity to travel and work all over the world, from Assam, India, to Sydney, Australia.

She received her MFA in Experimental and Documentary Arts from Duke University and continues to work on various documentary films.

Lauren served as a camera operator on the film Leave No Trace, available on Hulu. She also produced a feature-length film with director Irene Taylor Brodsky and award-winning deaf actor Marlee Matlin, exploring the life of the late deaf bodybuilder “Siren,” who starred on American Gladiators in the early 1990s.
