Frequently Asked Questions
What are your wedding day rates?
Please contact Lauren with details about your big day and she’ll be happy to send you her pricing guide if she’s available. If you feel like she may be outside of your allotted budget, please reach out and tell her your story. Even if she can't work with your budget, she may be able to refer others.
What is super8 and 16mm?
Super 8 film is a vintage motion picture format from the 1960’s cherished for its nostalgic, grainy look. For those looking for a step up in quality, 16mm film offers higher resolution and sharper details while still maintaining that beautiful filmic charm. Both formats have their own unique appeal. Mixing film with digital video adds a level of timelessness, softness, and authenticity.
How far in advance should we book?
It’s recommended to book at least 12–14 months in advance of your event to secure your date.
Do you travel?
Lauren travels outside of Oregon for the majority of her weddings and has had the privilege of capturing love stories all over the U.S. and beyond. For stateside and international weddings, she’ll provide a custom travel quote tailored to your destination.
How do we officially reserve our event date?
Once you fill out and submit the contact form, Lauren will respond within 24 hours to schedule a consultation. If it’s a good fit, you will be provided with a contract and an invoice for a 50% deposit. Your date will be officially secured the moment you sign the contract and pay the deposit.
The remaining balance is due two weeks before your event date. Dates are available on a first-come, first-serve basis, and can only be secured once the two steps above are completed.
How do we receive our wedding film?
All of your videos will be delivered through an online gallery, which you will be able to share and download.
What if we need you to stay longer than expected?
Lauren charges an hourly rate if you’d like to add more time at the end of an event.
Who edits my film?

How do you choose music?
Music is one of the most important aspects of your wedding film and is chosen with intention. During the pre-wedding planning, Lauren will discuss the genres of music you love, as well as your favorite artists. This ensures that when it comes time to select music, she’ll know what resonates with you.
Can we purchase the raw footage?
