Beth and Jake’s wedding took place at Griffin House, overlooking the Columbia River Gorge near Hood River, Oregon. Their wedding film combines Super 8 and digital footage to create a documentary-style portrait of the weekend—candid, fashion-forward, playful, and deeply personal, with a few more editorial moments woven throughout.

At the heart of the film are the people who know Beth and Jake best. Speeches from their parents and close family friends reveal the quirks, idiosyncrasies, and funny personality traits that make them who they are. Their stories bring an intimate, unguarded quality to the film, balancing the visual beauty of the day with the humor and warmth of their relationships.

The film moves between lively celebration and more sentimental moments, including a particularly moving tribute from Jake’s twin brother.

But the celebration didn't end with the wedding day. The following Saturday, Beth and Jake hosted an unforgettable party at The Redd on Salmon in Portland. The evening was filled with saturated florals by Manu Torres, sparkles, wigs, and plenty of fanfare—including a full drag show. The exuberance of the party became an important part of their wedding film, giving the story an entirely different energy.
