Elaina & George
Black Walnut Inn | Dundee, OR
Elaina and George’s wedding took place at The Black Walnut Inn in Dundee, Oregon, in the heart of Oregon Wine Country. Surrounded by rolling vineyards and the beauty of the Willamette Valley, their celebration had an effortless European feel—at times resembling a wedding in the Tuscan countryside, while remaining distinctly Oregon.
With thoughtful planning by Bridal Bliss and floral arrangements by Swoon Floral, every detail of the weekend was considered. The setting, design, and intimate guest experience created an atmosphere of quiet luxury that felt refined without ever becoming overly formal.
What made Elaina and George’s wedding especially meaningful was the way they brought together two distinct traditions. Their celebration included a Western wedding as well as a traditional Korean tea ceremony, during which they wore traditional Korean attire. The combination created a deeply personal wedding weekend rooted in family, culture, history, and tradition.
Their wedding film mirrors that balance between contemporary elegance and documentary storytelling. The film combines Super 8, 16mm, and digital footage, with each format used intentionally. The 16mm footage lends itself to more formal, editorial moments, capturing the beauty of the venue, fashion, and carefully considered details. Super 8 brings a looser, more documentary quality to the film, preserving candid interactions, spontaneous moments, and the personality of the weekend.
